Hey Commanders

This upcoming release that will see epic new Seasonal Content and a limited time Seasonal Event! The release will also see a couple features being removed from in-game. We know these features may be enjoyed by some, but we would like to share some insight into the decision. Please read about the new seasonal content and the removal of Custom Facebook Avatars and National Flags from in-game below.

New Base Theme: Fallen Capital

For the first time in over 4 years, we are excited to announce an all new Base Theme: Fallen Capital! This base theme is a December exclusive, so it won’t last long. For more details on how to earn Fallen Capital, read the Seasonal Alliance Event write-up further down! This limited time Alliance Event only runs from Dec 17th to Dec 23rd.

Removal of Custom Facebook Avatars

We have made the decision to remove Custom Facebook Avatars from being used in-game. While Custom Facebook Avatars can be harmless, we receive a large amount of reports centered around these images. These reports have historically included insulting, violent, pornographic, politically sensitive, racist, religious extremist content. Just to name a few.

We are all for expression and individuality in Rogue Assault. We are a game that welcomes people from all over the world and from all different backgrounds. The removal of these avatars is a step closer to providing a safe and welcoming gaming environment for all those who choose to play Rogue Assault.

New Seasonal Avatars

Don’t worry, you’ll still have the chance to stand out with our brand-new Seasonal Avatars!  Look to earn these during the limited time Seasonal Alliance Event that will be running from Dec 17 to Dec 23rd only. Removal of National Flags

Rogue Assault is a fictional WWIII post-apocalyptic real-time strategy war game. While Rogue Assault may draw ideas from various inspirations, we want to keep the Rogue Assault world seperate from real life references.

With this, we have made the decision to remove all National Flags from in-game. Any fictional in-game flags will remain. This decision has been made to better create a welcoming environment for all of our players.

Seasonal Alliance Event

This is your chance to work as a team to unlock resources, limited edition player avatars and even the brand new Fallen Capital Base Theme!

When

Starts: December 17th, 2023 at 00:01 PST
Ends: December 23rd, 2023 at 23:59 PST

How it works

1.Complete mission #1 to get a 10,000 prestige Loot.
2. Go to the Alliance Store and unlock Tier 5 for 10,000 Prestige.
3. Complete missions 2-39 to collect up to 100,000 alliance credits for your alliance.
4. Use Alliance Credits from your team to buy prestige packs from Tier 5 in the alliance store to unlock better prize tiers!
5. You can choose 1 reward from each reward tier for tiers 6 to 13!

Alliance Credits Event Adjustments

To ensure that alliance credits for the event are fairly earned through the event itself, sources of alliance credits elsewhere will be removed for the duration of the event. For the duration of the event,

1. Two alliance credit packs from the alliance store that traditionally cost prestige are removed from the store.
2. Alliance credits earned through quick match victories have been removed.
3. Hitman Bounty Event on Sundays and Mondays to earn alliance credits have not been scheduled.

This event is only around for a limited time. Your time to strategize is now, Commanders.

Oil Repair Costs Reduced

There was a situation in early Command Center levels where some players were unable to repair their platoon which has been fixed by this update above.

Blueprint Purchase Flow Improved

To create a more seamless and user-friendly experience, we have removed an unnecessary popup during the blueprint purchasing flow. 

MKs Automatically Applied

Previously, players needed to apply a purchased MK. This resulted in a cumbersome player experience that we wanted to remove. Now, directly purchased MKs are automatically applied.

Timer UI Updated

The display of the majority of timers has been updated to provide a better user experience.

• 00:12:12:48 -> 12h 12m 48s
• 00:00:11:20 -> 11m 20s
